Before learning: There was a time when I can recall how I met a shy young female who had some difficulties expressing her ideas speaking English. Her listening skills were limited to the vocabulary words that she knew and she was very reserved only answering the questions I asked her. I remember how hard I tried to make her smile in order to build her confidence. After learning: Now, there has been a total transformation. She is very inquisitive and can carry a long conversation talking about any subject while always smiling. It is my pleasure to have met such a young and aspiring student who can now freely communicate and talk about advanced IELTS topic questions without hesitation. You have consistently shown improvements in all categories including, vocabulary, intonation, grammar and listening. I'm always looking forward to speaking to you and I'm proud to be your teacher.

Susie在2011-11-28与David老师上了第一节课,上课期间很害羞,很少开口讲话,只是静静的听老师说,然后做简单的回应。老师也感受到学生的害羞,问Susie是不是不开心,了解得知学生期末中文英语成绩不是很理想,只告诉了妈妈不敢告诉爸爸。这时David老师分享了自己小时候怎样顽皮的用自己的机灵通过妈妈“骗”爸爸成绩,Susie听完后很开心的笑了。在这个过程里,David老师分享了许多关于自己读书时候的事情,上课气氛很轻松,第一节课结束。学员还是没有说很多,但是却因为David老师的幽默而笑得很开心。刚开始的课程,Susie上课比较被动,只是简单的一问一答,听老师分享,但是上课气氛轻松。老师说:“As for Susie,I noticed she was a bit shy so I started by making her laugh and focused on her weak point like vocabulary and grammar.”在词汇和语法方面,David老师鼓励Susie把它们当成自己的朋友,每天和它们聊天,培养感情,时间久了,你们就自然成为朋友了。那么它们也不会在考试里刁难你,如果还是有你不会的单词和用错的语法,那肯定是你不够爱它,所以,问题是在自己身上而不是词汇和语法上边。就是通过这种循循善诱,Susie发现了英语的乐趣,认真的学习;喜欢上David老师的课,于是开口的说,主动和老师分享今天发生的事情,不再是以前的一问一答,而是一种自然的积极的互动,时常还能逗得David老师哈哈笑。成绩也从原来的全班20名提升到班级第一名。口语成绩的进步,性格从害羞到自信,不仅有学员的改变,更重要的是老师对学生的影响。老师因材施教,根据学员的性格以及爱好,投其所好,所以教学效果事半功倍。老师表示“I am just good for children and I love them, I want them enjoy my class and have fun. For children, it's not their choice to take the class. it's their parents who make them to have class. And what can I do is to make the student have my class jut because they like it.”老师的真诚往往最能得到学员的信任和感动,正是这股力量让Susie进步成长。与老师学习六个月后,Susie爸爸觉得孩子英语已经有进步了,可以暂停在易说堂的学习而加强其他的科目,就是这样子的决定让Susie在微博上留下不舍的文字。Susie爸爸看到后,才知道了女儿对易说堂的感情以及对英语的热爱,毅然决然的又报了一年的课程,正是我们用实际行动让学员家长感受到我们教学模式的优势,老师及所有工作人员的责任心,就是这样的好服务,Susie妈妈开始给身边的朋友介绍易说堂,给我们带来的业务效应非常的大。同时,Susie变成了我们的大业务员。到处宣传易说堂。模式好,老师和工作人员都很有责任心。学习效果非常好。推荐了10个人以上的学员报名学习,David老师也很开心,因为Susie的一个同学就是他现在的另一个学员,他表示:“it's very funny and I feel very happy that Susie continues her study with me!”
不管是英语教学还是销售,我们总希望能达到“双赢”。对于老师,我们要用自己独特的针对性的教学方法让学生以及家长看到教学效果,教会学员的不仅仅是英语,更重要的是自信影响他们以及能够影响他们的正面积极力量,让家长和学员自身感受到改变,这样学员就会主动地介绍更多的同学同事给他喜欢的老师。对于销售,我们注重的是学员再报名的次数以及家长带来的推荐效应。这都是我们可以学习改进奋斗的方向。
