Before learning: At the beginning of our course, I already noticed that the student needs improvement with her pronunciation and grammar she is also still in the process of learning many words for her vocabulary as it is common to most children who are still in their learning stage, but the thing that I noticed the most is her shyness, in my opinion, this was what we needed to work on to improve on all aspects of English. After learning: As time passes and after working on boosting her confidence, her English skill also started to develop, Her ability to learn in a fast phase environment also contributed on improving on her English classes, It became very easy for her to remember new words and their pronunciation and she became extremely eager to learn new ones, she is now able to apply the new words that she learns in expressing thoughts,we are still in the process of learning new words and I can say that she will continue to grow and will achieve more things along the way.
Cissy is a very talented child, I would say that she is one of the smartest student that I have, her ability to absorb and learn new things is fast and remarkable, but the one thing that astounds me of her is her determination and eagerness to learn on any circumstances, at one point of our course she had a serious cold and was already coughing I knew that right at the beginning of the class, I asked her if she is okay and she replied yes, so we continued on the class and this kept on going until the next few days, finally I asked her to take a break at least for one day and rest as it seems that her cold is not getting better, although she wasn’t feeling good, she still insisted on having the class and asked me to continue on ,I felt bad and at the same time surprised for having a student who have a strong will in learning English.
