Before learning:

Our first day of class was never easy. I find it hard to understand what he was trying to say. Flaws were noted at his pronunciation, listening skills and grammar. He has plenty of ideas to share but he could not express it very well due to limited vocabulary words that he knows. He finds it hard to use the right words in his sentences. However, his determination of learning English pushed him to do more every day.

After learning:

He can speak confidently now. His listening skills were improving every class. Though he still commits grammatical error but his sentences can be understood unlike before. His perseverance to pursue this English class made him to improve his speaking skills. I hope he would be an inspiration to other students who wants to improve their oral communication skills. Learning English knows no boundaries, whether you are a grade school, high school or university student, postgraduate or taking masters or even an owner of a company. Determination is what it takes if you want to learn and improve yourself.

因为要准备移民加拿大，为尽快适应以后国外生活和开展商务活动必须先扫除语言障碍，所以学好英语对我来说是非常重要的一件事。

在易说堂学习的这段时间，听说方面进步最大，所做的听说练习听说练习强度是以往任何在校英语教育中没有过的。刚开始学时，几乎很难听懂电影中的一句台词，学习5个月后，基本能听懂日常用语，上个月自己独自去美国旅行都能应付自如。在美国旅游期间与当地人做基本的交流，日常生活和旅游基本没什么感到有语言障碍，极大增强了自己的信心。

语言是有声的，提高听说能力，培养语感，每天积累一点，必有成就。VOA慢速英语和《走遍美国》是比较好的听说补充学习材料。罗马不是一天建成的，一天一点积累，坚持就会成功。电话英语是最容易坚持下来的学习途径。
