Before learning:

Speaking:She can express her ideas with some very basic sentences. Most of the time, she used to answer with simple words, but not sentences.

Pronunciation:Magie's pronunciation is rather clear. But at the beginning, I found she would have some wrong pronunciation, such as "said", " says". We have tried to correct them again and again during the class.

Grammar:During our class, I found that Magie can use basic grammar very well.

Listening:Magie couldn't understand some of my English, maybe because she was nervous at that time. She used to do a lot of preparation before class, or she has difficulties in understanding.

Vocabulary:She only used some simple words in her oral English. I knew she needed to improve more.

After learning:

Speaking:She speak fluently when talking about her familiar areas, such as her work and family. She is active in our class, eager to learn and good at imitating . All these help her to learn quickly and efficiently.

Pronunciation:Magie would try to correct those I have reminded of, in order to have better pronunciation in her oral English.

Grammar:She has pretty good foundation in grammar. There are only little grammatical mistake in her oral practice. She will correct them step by step with teacher's help.

Listening:She is not afraid of listening any more. She would ask me in English when she feel confused, this can also improve her communication ability.

Vocabulary:She has quite a big vocabulary now. But we still meet new words everyday. Try to learn them by heart, use them in the conversation or homework.

我学习英语没有什么必须的目的和理由，工作上没有要求，也许只为了圆自己心底里的一个梦想而已。因为学的是护理专业，很早就走上了工作岗位，没有在象牙塔呆过的感觉，英语的基础也很差，仅能应付当年学校里的考试。多年来，心里一直有个深深的愿望，希望能补上这一课，说上一口流利的英语，为此没少折腾。上过新东方的多个培训班、请过家教、自学等。但反反复复、断断续续，始终原地踏步，未能坚持。

但真正让我坚持并取得进步的是易说堂。一个偶然的机会，在网上看到一种英语学习方法--电话英语。好奇之下咨询了课程顾问Bebe，她热心地向我介绍了易说堂，并推荐我可以联系其他学员了解学习体会，于是一个电话以后，我就成了易说堂的学员。刚开始上课时我基本听不懂，要不断的重复和解释才一知半解，也基本上说不出一个确切的单词回答，非常感谢我的Eileen老师，是你的耐心、温和和不断的鼓励才使我渐渐地放开、接受及努力。通过半年的学习，我明显地感觉到自己的进步。在课堂上已基本能听懂老师的意思，也能用简单、较为流畅的英语与老师对话了。我认为易说堂的老师不但教学水平和授课理念值得推广，更重要的是每天准时的电话促使我坚持下来，取得了良好的学习效果。

同学们，我们很幸运，选择了易说堂。学习没有技巧和捷径，唯有不断地读、背、听、说。虽然我们每个人的学习目的不同，但相同的是通过在易说堂的学习，我们都提高了、进步了，实现了自己最初的理想。坚持吧！不要放弃！
