Before Learning Tim is a very talented boy. He has a good voice, he can play the drum set very well, and he has a very fine talent in calligraphy (which was shown on TV last Dragon Boat Festival); I think he has a lot more to show. His English has a lot of strong points, he has a good accent (he speaks with a slang), he is quite confident in expressing himself and he has many things he wanted to talk about during our class that he freely discussed with me. He is bold, optimistic and has a great personality. However, Tim sometimes forgets his basic grammar, particularly the PAST TENSE. That’s why I had really focused our first several days to improve his STORY TELLING skills (which is important in learning the basic rules of the past tense of the verb). Although, he has some weaknesses, he has still a lot of time to correct them. After learning Every single day, this wonderful boy proves himself to me. You don’t know how proud I am of having this kid in my class. After telling him some of his weak points, he tries his best to correct them. He is very aware of the grammar now; seldom has he still committed some lapses though. I wasn’t wrong in saying he has more talent and skills to show me, this boy has an adaptable skills, he never said no to things I asked him to do in relation with our class; he’s always on-the-go. His adventurous personality will make him a great and noble person in the future. Furthermore, Tim is comfortable speaking in English with people he just met once, his amicable personality will help him to have more foreign friends later on.
My name is Tim, I’m 12 years old. I’ve been studying in E-say for about a year now. I often read English books in my spare time; it makes me learn a lot of new English words. I’m a drummer, so when I have to learn how to play jazz drum, I need listen some European and American pop music, and the English songs deeply attract me indeed. Those songs help me to get better pronunciations, I found myself to love English more at the same time. My favorite band is ‘One Direction’, and their song entitled ‘Night Change’ is my favorite. I’m a boy who likes learning language very much, not only English, but also French. I’d like to share my experience about studying English. ‘Read more, listen more, and practice more.’ Perseverance and good habits are important; meanwhile pronunciation, intonation and application are important too. You must dare to have conversation with other people, imagine you’re a foreigner, because language is a tool of talking.
First, I would like to congratulate TIM for being the 43rd Best Students of E-Say Mobile English. I am proud to say that this boy deserves this award. I am very proud of my other students too; they all deserved to be recognized. I was trying to recall things we did in our class, and I could say I’m happy. I am happy with contentment. I realized how big the improvement Tim made in his English so far was. Although, I am jolly and talkative teacher in class, I hope he understands my roughness and strictness sometimes in the class because I wanted all his attention and patience to learn and improve efficiently. I just wanted him to understand that learning English is a two way process, you need to do your best and exert effort as the teacher will do his. So, remember to speak in English assuming it is your own language. English is understood in most parts of the planet and its importance is realized in our lives daily. Learning the grammar might be hard but you could get better by continuous and constant practice. Find a friend who could speak English with you every day, and live it on. Whenever you feel stuck, always remember to ask for help! I am here your diligent teacher. Congratulations! It’s a job well done.
