David is an independent student who takes an active approach in his english studies. He goes beyond what is expected and makes great effort to connect his language learning with his personal interests. David has made great progress in speaking and grew his vocabulary by listening closely to the teacher and reviewing class recordings daily. Amazingly, he is able to successfully create a stable English environment by himself because he is responsible, independent, and enjoys watching English t.v. Shows and movies frequently. David's confidence has grown considerably,which I believe has both motivated and enabled him become the best student he can be. Even though there's a lot of work left to be done, with hard work and determination, I believe that David will succeed in reaching his dreams!

My name is David and I’m 16 years old. I’m a high school student. I often watch American TV series in my spare time, especially Friends. I love watching it because I think I can learn a lot of useful English from it. I’m crazy about football. I like to play and watch it. My favorite football player is James Rodriguez. He is a midfielder for Real Madrid which is also my favorite football team. I also like to read books about history. Sometimes I will think about a lot of historical stuff. Finally, I’m good at singing. I have won several singing prizes and won 1st place in many competitions .

I’d like to share some suggestions about how to learn English. I hear so many people saying learning English well is a difficult task. But I think the only reason why they can’t learn it well is because they don’t like English very much. I ‘m really crazy about English. As I said, I like to watch American TV series to learn English. It’s a fantastic way to learn it. At first, I watched TV series with the help of subtitles and wrote down the words which I didn't understand. Later, I stopped using the Chinese subtitles and just looked at the English subtitles. At last, I didn't need to look at any subtitles. You can practice listening,speaking and expand your vocabulary at the same time by learning this way!
